I've downloaded, installed, and configured the Thyme module extension for the site. The features of this calendar seem pretty robust. This product is not, unfortunately, distributed under an open source license and parts of the php are encrypted. It's reasonably priced, around $50.00 I believe. I would recommend this module for somone wanting a quick way to add a full featured event calendar to a Joomla! site without the overhead of custom development. I am not keen to include commercially licensed components, particularly with encryped source code involved, in an open source solution. I dislike that you must add a few associated modules along with the Thyme module for ease of customization and inter-operability.
